Guwahati, Feb 5 : The BSF arrested three suspected militants of the Peoples’ Liberation Army (PLA) near Icchamati under East Khasi Hills district of Meghalaya last night, a BSF communiqué said today.
Acting on a tip-off, the BSF caught the trio while they were trying to cross over to Bangladesh. Two of them were identified as Mema and her 15-year-old son, Vinod while the third person was identified as Narayan Singh.
Mema and Vinod had reached the area from Manipur yesterday where Singh was waiting to guide them to a PLA camp in Bangladesh.
