CCBOs Manipur appeals to respect the cry of innocent public for peace

Dimapur February 8 (MExN): The Confederation of Community Based Organisation of India (CCBOs) Manipur held on February 5 held an emergency meeting at CCBOs Manipur with Pranami Sharma, chief coordinator, CCBOs Northeast region, and V Lasuh, new chairman of CCBOs Northeast Region, as Presidium members and the new chairman of CCBOs NE Region. He is likely to address CCBOs Nagaland very soon.

The house during the meeting resolved to submit a proposal to Minister, Agriculture and Social Welfare for purchase of Agri Sorbs Plus during the year 2008-09, to draft of Peoples Manifesto for the forth coming Parliamentary Election 2009 and to strive led to restore peaceful life in the state.

The CCBOs in its meeting also resolved to appeal to all the underground Group Leaders to respect the cry of innocent public for peace.

Further, random NGO proposal to the concerned Ministries, Government of India without proper channel shall be strictly checked and lastly resolved to publish the adopted resolutions to the Local Daily Newspapers, AIR & Doordarshan Kendra Imphal and ISTV, Imphal for wide publication. This was informed through a press release issued by Dilip Singh Okram, chairman of CCBOs, Manipur.
