Imphal, Feb 14 : Manipur players took the overall team champions’ title bagging 28 medals, including 14 gold in the 17th Senior National Wushu Championship held at Naded, Maharashtra, from February 1-7.
In the Taolu routine event, Ng. Toshibala Chanu won four gold medals, L. Sanatombi Chanu claimed two gold, A. Sanathoibi Devi bagged one gold and three silver, Y. Sapana Devi clinched two gold and two silver, and S. Boro Singh claimed two silver and one bronze. L. Ratan won one gold and one silver in the same routine, while G. Indrakumar laid claim on one gold and two bronze. L. Jhalajit won one gold and one bronze.
In the Sanshou event, Y. Sanathoi Singh and Ng. Ibemcha Devi claimed one gold each while Th. Romajit, H. Gagarin and H. Gangapati Devi bagged one silver each.
