Imphal, Jan 18 : THE UNITED Kuki Liberation Front (UKLF) has asked the people of Kom tribe living in Thayong area of Sadar Hills to name the UG groups which had harrassed them and extorted money from them.
TL Jacob Thadou, Secretary Information and Publicity today stated in a press release that the UKLF feels sad at the frequent harrassment and extortion to the Kuki brethren of Kom tribe.
However, it would like to inform the Kom tribe that the tribe should not malign the image of all Kuki UG groups, but should mention the name of the specific organisation who thrashed or harrassed them and extorted money from them.
At the same time, the UKLF appeals to all the Kuki UG groups not to harrass, extort or kidnap its people of its own community, the press release stated.
