Imphal, January 21 : AT LEAST nine houses totally razed to ground in a fire burnt incident occurred at a small village named Swangpek located in the interior of the hill district of Churachandpur Tuesday early morning, an official report here in Imphal said.
Any human casualty is reported in the fired burnt incident which occurred at around 2 am today which according to police spread from a wildfire in the nearby area of the hill village.
The village is located under Thanlon sub-division, the farthest area from the Churachand district headquarters.
The families of the nine houses were left nothing except the clothing at their back, the report said.
However, the lost worth of the property is yet to calculate officially, the officials here added.
